As I have done for the last uncountable number of years, I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade today. As always, the parade, with the exception of the inclusion of the disgusting Kanye West, was an awesome spectacle. However, the one thing that really caught my attention was a commercial. The commercial had a music background with scenes from a failed rocket launch by NASA, Popeye getting thrown into the ocean, a boxer getting KOed, Evel Knevele in one of his worst crashes and other such disasters or semi-disasters. At the end were the words "we all fall sometimes" then a pause and then "thank you for helping us get back on our feet". Then a pause and then the General Motors "GM" and "since 1908." Sort of struck a nerve with me. Guess GM means a lot to The Legend because GM has, and continues, to mean a lot to racing.
God bless you all, and may your Thanksgiving be a truly blessed and safe one.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.
