Scout Honor, Bobby Allison says he won 85 NASCAR CUP RACES at tonight's NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Bobby Allison fans should write NASCAR Hall of Fame, Brian France, and Mike Helton to changed it from 84 NASCAR CUP wins to 85 NASCAR CUP wins.
Yep, Dennis, he did say that! We said that when we inducted Bobby into The Memory Lane Racers Reunion Hall of Fame in Mooresville. He DID win 85. Just take a look at the record books and see the other driver who won 84 and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who puts pressure on NASCAR not to recognize that other win. Bobby won 85 Cup races, period. The other guy can't count past twenty anyway and then only when he takes off his shoes. As for writing all those folks, I have, and I know several who have and there even was a petition drive few years ago to which NASCAR responded saying they were "looking into it" or something to that effect. No steps were ever taken to correct the record however. I would recommend Bobby look into hiring a gopher to assist him in lobbying NASCAR. Seems such animals carry great influence in Daytona.
