Questions:
1) Are they still making Louisville Sluggers?
2) Are they still wood?
I've nevergotten used to a bat going "ping" as they seem to today. Never played with a metal bat.
In my treasured archives are two broken Louisville Sluggers I got at the ballpark in the late 50s in Richmond, Va. One belonged to outfielder Tom Tresh, the other to pitcher Mel Stottlemeyer, both playing at the time for the Richmond Virginians AAA club before making it to Yankee Stadium.
