Seems as though Bret Bodine lost the Pace car Sunday during the rain delay.

Yup he parked it and SOMEBODY took it off to go get it cleaned up--but forgot to tell Brett that they took it---sounds awfully close to some pranks Dale or Tim Richmond pulled back in the day. You know any juicy ones to add?????

One time in the early 70's the lights went out at International Raceway Park in Ona West Virginia just as the field went into turn one under green. I think it was a Grand National East event.

B.B., Theyear was 1985 and thedude was thoroughly roughed up as he was so ''gently'' placed in the patrol car. I remember the cops dragging him out of the pace car. They were NOT amused as it caused a delay of the race start. During that same episode, a woman sitting in the grandstand past the start /finish line was ''flashing'' her upper half to the crowd. We were lined up right in front of where she was and Pearson unbuckled and got out of the car on the line to take a look. Strange happenings to say the least, but that is Talladega and it's infamous fan base. I am speculating based on past experience that Alabama hooch is potent stuff!

Yes. I lost a race at Savannah one time because some driver from Georgia got in my way.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

Lost a hum-dinger of a stop-watch at Myrtle Beach Speedway. Had it for over 20 years...oh well!

BB, I remember that very well. Jim Freeman took the rap and a lot of kidding over that. It was 1986 before the Winston 500.
