Our guests will be legendary fuel funny car star and owner of the Texas Motorplex, Billy Meyer. Billy has seen it all, from decades at the top of the fuel funny car scene to owner and operator of the sport's first modern supertrack.

And, we are proud to host the author of the essential drag racing history book, "Hi Performance," and curator of the Smithsonian American History Museum who put Don Garlits and Bruce Larson's cars in front of millions of our fellow Americans -- Bob Post!

Plus John Bockelman, in consultation with Bob Post, has selected a night of Bebop JAZZ for his musical picks! And then we'll play 'em all on our three hour musical after party!

Ladies & Gents:

Below is the list of songs that Bob and I have for the BeBop era. There's more music on
here than any 2 years of Rock 'n Roll. These guys flat-out kicked butt, but at the same
time, played extended strings of creative dialogue using their instruments as their voice.
Amazing, and it should be a fun segment!
The song of the era that I asked Bob to pick is "Giant Steps", the title song from the album
by John Coltrane. He had runner-ups as well, but we'll go with that one.
Looking forward to tomorrow night! Thanks, JB
