Just yesterday Jack Roush pulls a cat in the hat trick it seems. He announced at the track his 2015 lineup of drivers and -- AND Carl Edwards wasnt in the lineup. So what or why would you do that on a day before the race and not on a Monday or other day.

True Jack is wired slightly different but it seems as though Carl knew nothing of this coming down. Now the question is where O where is Carl off to for the 15 season, will he jump ship early or ride it to the end. There have been others that bailed and some who went to the end.

Carl is in the chase too so what does this do to his desire, will he try to win the gold even though he is basically out?

What would you do,that is the question

Carl and Jimmy Fennig are pros. They'll still give it their all to win the title just as Harvick tried last year with RCR. Based on the way the 99 has raced lately though, it's doubtful Edwards will advance to Homestead - with or without this announcement.

But Roush is clearly a bitter old man in my opinion. His announcement was provided to the press specifically to make things awkward for Carl - just as he did with Kenseth a couple of years ago. I'm really not surprised at all by the news nor in the fashion it was announced.

Roush has had a lot of success in NASCAR the last 25 years. But departures over the last decade of Martin, Burton, Kenseth and now Edwards say a lot about the trending of the team. Look who has left - and look who has been hired to replace them. It's not a good story to tell, and it's one reason among others I wish Richard Petty Motorsports could find another supplier partner.

right on Chase, I believe Carl will stay until the end of the season and give it a good try but will end up with Joe Gibbs next year and will have a better year than this one.....
