After yesterday's weather in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex, the question asked by a Texas television station two years ago seems exceedingly relevant. As for me, having lived in Dallas for 2 1/2 years, I'll stay away from TMS during tornado season.

That is scary!!! Never thought about it but I do remember the year at Darlington when we had very severe weather the night before the race and parts of the infield flooded. We were parked behind Victory Lane so our motorhome didn't flood but in certain areas, cars were flooded. The tunnel in Turn 3 (in the old days) was flooded. Darlington had NAVY scuba divers go in to unstop the drains. It was quite an interesting night. Next day, race day, we had a hail storm that rocked our world if you can imagine being inside a motorhome with dime size hail beating on the roof. Quite a weather weekend. This was in the 70s, maybe 74 or 75.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.
