I have noticed a downsizing in the fans at racing on the major tracks, I wonder really why this is happening, but I think I know that answer. Now here is the next new problem I see rising out of the dust over on the back stretch. Now mind you I may be wrong on this but the car count and the visitation count seems to be low for some reason. Lately the activity on the main stretch is not exactly what it was 6 months ago. Ok now some may say im over the hill talking in no mans land but in truth I think I got your attention for a moment so here goes===== This site seems to be slack in activity, true you have a few who keep the activity going but it seems to me there is a fall off in activity on here.

I do not want to see this site hurt in any way because nothing and I do mean nothing comes close to what we have here. This membership costs you nothing at all and you get all of the past and much of the present in racing, knowledge here is second to none in motorsports. One person I know has poured his heart and sole into this and he deserves the most and best backing and support that can be given.

I want all the people who give a darn about SCRR to step up and lets get our HOME back to where it was, OUT FRONT where we belong.

Now if Im wrong TELL ME and I will graciously apologize but first show me Im wrong,if Im right then lets all do our part to get back to the front or maybe at least a straightaway ahead of second place whoever that may be. Now tighten those belts up and lets get up on the wheel because we got a S I T E to support. ;Johnny Mallonee

You are right on point Mr. Mallonee. Without this site, the heritage of this great sport would be diluted with NOS energy drink and buried in duck feathers. Jeff came along and set up this site to honor Paul Lewis, his old friend and mentor and, I might add, one very fine man. This site brought you and I back together 38 years AFTER we used to fight it out on the tracks around South Carolina and Georgia and that has been a joyous reunion for me. It's not so much that we are into "reliving" the past, but we are certainly into "remembering" the past, and it is the people here at RacersReunion who have the stories, first hand stories, to share with all and, hopefully, with the younger fans coming along. I could not believe an enounter with an 18 year old awhile back who professed to being a racing expert but had never heard of Fireball Roberts. Seems his expertise began about 2006. We have much of which to be proud and much to honor here. Keep it up, Johnny. You are awesome and this site much continue to support the cause for which it was established. Thank you for what you do.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

There is nothing comparable to this site. Have learned a lot (something new most every day) and made new friends while learning. The photo resources here are amazing, as well as the well told tales by those who were there.
