While we've already awarded the kudos and Rockingham Truck tickets to Kristy Mallonee, our 10,000th member, I also want to wish a warm welcome to member #10,001 - "HOKIE GIRL" from Blacksburg, Virginia.
As an alumnus of The University of Virginia in Charlotteville, Virginia, I'd probably have had a seizure if someone (like Hokie Girl) affiliated with the Wahoos' dreaded rival (Virginia Tech) in Blacksburg had won our 10,000th member prize.
I note that member 10,001 found our site while looking for information on one of my all-time favorite drivers - the "Ferrum Flash" - Paul Radford of Ferrum, Virginia.
Paul Radford was one of NASCAR's greatest Modified Division and Late Model Sportsman Division drivers. He was one of only two drivers in NASCAR history (the other was Ray Hendrick) to win both halves of a Martinsville doubleheader. For many years I watched Paul race almost every Friday night at Richmond's Southside Speedway. It warms my heart that folks are still out there looking up the guys I idolized.
Welcome aboard, Hokie Girl. Look forward to hearing those "Highty Tighties" soon at Martinsville playing the National Antherm!

Paul Radford in the famed Clarence's Steak House coach as posted at JalopyJournal by The Bullfather. When you went to Martinsville, you had to eat at Clarence's on U.S. 220. That was a MUST !
