Woody, I think you and I should meet in Charlotte and do an intervention before this "fixation" gets out of hand and our friend Dave goes over to the dark side. lol......
OK, I'll just go back to cheering for Lennie as I always did and leave Legend to handle the sharks!
Woody, you have to remember that back in 1973 when I took my wife to her first Cup race - at Rockingham - she actually pulled for DW to win ROY over Lennie, declaring the future Jaws to be "good looking" - her words not mine! We had a divided house until I started sponsoring Earnhardt and Joyce joined in, lol.
And I thought D.W. could not exceed his disgusting activities in the FOX Booth. Boy, was I ever wrong!!!! This video is enough to make me crave lighting strikes to my butt.
lol, lightening strikes to your butt!!!! what a mental image I didn't need. I was playing in a bluegrass band one time overseas at the USO club and a fellow airman who fancied himself a ladies man grabbed a guitar and jumped up on the stage and pretended to play along with us. after a couple songs I quietly told everyone to quit playing when I did. We suddenly stopped and stood aside and he was strumming but no sound was coming out. They laughed him off the stage and he was a bit humbled after that. I thought of that time when I watched DW's pitiful performance.....
