Charlotte firms make BBBs Dirty Half-Dozen list for unanswered complaints

Six Charlotte-area companies have been named to the Better Business Bureaus Dirty Half-Dozen list, an annual compilation of businesses with the most unanswered customer complaints for the first half of the year.

Consumers have filed 6,320 complaints with the bureau so far this year, according to the organizations news release. Here are the companies that made the list:

SpeedTech Auto Racing Schools . Randy Baker , son of NASCAR legend Buck Baker, owns the Concord-based business that offers driving lessons at NASCAR tracks. Six customers complained that SpeedTech sold them a lesson that they never received. When the Observer tried to reach the firm Monday, its number had been disconnected.
