Racing will return once again to Kingsport Speedway.

Robert Pressley is proud to announce the return of racing to the famed concrete oval. Kingsport Speedway has not ran weekly racing since the closing in 2002. The UARA Stars has made several stops at the raceway over the past two years which has drawn lots of interest from the former local racers. Pressley is very enthusiastic about the upcoming 2011 season. Kingsport Speedway will be proudly returning to a NASCAR weekly racing facility.

The follwing divisions will be running.

Late Model, Chargers. Street Stock and Pure 4

Other divisions may be added.

New track operator Robert Pressley will be holding a meet and greet with competitors in the next 2 weeks with Division rules meetings to follow in the near future.

It's great that Robert could open that track up to weekly events.Asheville,Buncombe County, and Western NC loss is Kingsport and the Tri-cities gain. My wife and are already planning to drive up there to attend some of their events.
