Haven't seen it mentioned here, but what do think of Danica saying she didn't see that bright pink pace car she passed Friday night at Richmond?

Louise Smith

Ethel Flock Mobley - Sister of Bob, Fonty & Tim Flock

Sara Christian

As you said PKL, fame is so fleeting. All 3 of the young ladies above raced in the July 10, 1949 Daytona Beach race. I do hope Danica makes it in NASCAR, but like you, I trust the media will refrain from calling her the First Lady. So many have passed before her (well, they weren't all ladies, lol.)

This is the pink pace car promoting American Cancer Society (also used at Atlanta) that Danica didn't see and passed at Richmond. Can we get a copy of the NASCAR vision test perhaps? .

QUOTE : "I didn't even see the pace car!" she said after the race. "The pace car must have been pretty low or going kind of slow or something. I remember accelerating down the front straight and thinking, 'Wow, we're really moving!' and I didn't even see the pace car."

OK, I guess as she says, the Camaro is pretty low, right? Andthe pace cardoes usually go kinda slow, right?

Is there really a pace car in that picture? I can't see it. Wonder if that will get me a major sponsorship?

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.
