How in the world do I say everything I want to say in one Post? I can't, so let me give Proper Thanks and Recognitions..for they are most important!
Larry Long, thank YOU so much for helping make this night possible. I do not know what I would have done without you helping pull this all together with me. Thank you also, for providing the beautiful Trophies!!
Eddy Pollard, I owe you many "thanks" as well.
Billy and Karen Biscoe, Thank You so much for surprising me with your visit to Fayettteville MotorSpeedway!! You two are simply AMAZING, and AWESOME people! And, yes Billy I could very well tell that was not your first Rodeo! Thank you, so much for your support of The Bell & Bell Vintage Modified Racing Series!
It was wonderful to finally get to meet Gene Hobby, what a handsome and dear man you are. I do hope to see you in Hillsborough in the Fall, thank you for assuring me there would be a Spot for me!
Also, inattendance were Glen McDuffie, Joel Thomas, Coy Blue, JD Blue, Dyno Don, Rick Smith, Martin Roberts, Jerry Raynor, and Keith Smith.
Congratulations are in order to the two newest members of the Fayetteville Motor Speedway Hall of Fame. The first lady ever inducted to the hall, long time scorer, Elaine Vinson and also the man who has supplied many trophies that sit on the shelves of many FMS winners, "Dyno" Don Sulcer. Their hard work and dedication to the speedway has been greatly appreciated through out the years!!
I missed you, Ray Lamm and Jimmy Johnson, but I totally understand. The weather was so unpredictable, that I would have understood if nobody came.
I got to see David Boggs for the first time in a great while. He too, surprised me. He never told me if he would or would not be there. He informed me, that he couldn't surprise me...if I had known for sure!
You know, the night was kind of like a whirlwind for me. So many people to see, and so many things to do...that I could have used at least 2 days at the track to do all I wanted. But, that was not the way it was.
I was back and forth from the Tower to the Pits until all my guys rolled in. Then I feel it is my place to be with them. That is what I do...therefore, that is where I should be. I am such a Rookie at this..LOL!! BUT, I am learning...and willing to learn.
