My old friend and one-time employer, Billy Sawyer is staging a pretty good little dirt shootout this weekend on Virginia's "Northern Neck" in Jamaica, Virginia, when the Fastrak Pro Late Models invade his pristine Virginia Motor Speedway Oct. 2-4 for a $20,000 to win feature. Those whose memories stretch back to dirt racing in the 60s & 70s will remember the site as the old Saluda Raceway, once home to spirited battles between the late Al Grinnan and RR member, Joe Dean Huss.
The Fastrak drivers might want to take a look at the video below of Scott Bloomquist at Sawyer's dirt speed plant to learn the quick way around. Bloomquist shattered the track late model record when he visited in April.
