Richard Petty pockets the 1970 Savannah 200. I love one of the early paragraphs of the included article. Words are rarely spun this nicely in today's journalism:
For most of the capacity crowd observing the spectacle, it seemed the Randleman NC driver handled his 1970 Plymouth as effortlessly as an octogenarian on a leisurely Sunday drive.
Oddly enough, I guess that phrase may still apply to Morgan Shepherd and James Hylton.
