Clinton E. Ramsey was an long time listener and frequent dedicated caller.
Would talked about old Va. auto racing history especially the old "Dinwiddie Speedway" located near Petersburg, Va.
Clinton Earl Ramsey Obituary:
Clinton Earl Ramsey, 67, of Church Road, passed away on May 13, 2013. He was the son of the late Richard Henry and Sarah M. Ramsey; and was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Ramsey.
Mr. Ramsey owned and operated Ramsey's Iron and Metal in Petersburg for many years. He was an active member of Living Stone Baptist Church, and was also a member of the Moose in Colonial Heights. Clinton was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Mr. Ramsey is survived by: his wife, Linda C. Ramsey; two daughters, Belinda R. Ingram, and Mary Elizabeth R. Wheelhouse and husband, Stuart; three grandchildren, Ryan Ingram and wife, Sarah, Sarah E., and Stuart A. Wheelhouse; a brother, Richard Ramsey; one sister, Elaine Robinson of Macon, Ga.; his four-legged special friend, "Roxy"; and numerous nieces; nephews; and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ron Newton, officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.

Wesley Puryear Henley was an long time listener, but didn't called in.
Mr. Henley was the 1955 and 1956 Mooers Field Race Track Champion.
Mooers Field Race Track located in Richmond,Va.
Mr. & Mrs. Cox sons Bobby & Stuart Cox built and owned an racecar.
Mr. & Mrs. Cox would go to Mooers Field Races and wouldn't let their young sons to drive it!!
Mr. Henley,whom worked for Mr. & Mrs. Cox was hired to be their son's race car driver.
Later on, Mr. Henley helped his close friend Joe Kelly out at Southside Speedway and later won 1989 Joe Weatherly Memorial Tribute Award.
WESLEY PURYEAR HENLEY Obituary:
Wesley Puryear HENLEY, 90, of Rockville, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Pete. He is survived by his three children, Carol Osborne, Kay Stuart (Jim), and Sherry Henley; his four grandchildren, Taft Osborne (Jacqueline), Lindsay Osborne, Colin Stuart and Lisa Stuart; and two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Sophie Osborne. He will also be greatly missed by his four-legged companion, Kittyboo. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013. Interment will follow at Berea Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Henrico Doctors Hospital for their love and kindness.
