ATLANTA 250 1968

Atlanta, Ga.

Race number 12 of 1968 was at the 1.5 mile paved Atlanta Raceway.

Paul Goldsmith in a Smokey Yunick Camaro and Donnie Allison in a Mustang waged a 2 car battle at the front until Goldsmith had transmission failure. Allison went on to pilot the Jerri Huggins Mustang unchallenged to his 4 th win of the season collecting $2,300 of the $19,000 purse. Twelve of the twenty two starters were running at the finish. There were 3 cautions for 21 laps.
