Looking for a 1955 Chevy that ran at Old Bridge in the 50s /60s...

I am looking for any photos and/or information about a black 1955 Chevy numbered "X" that I saw run at Old Bridge Speedway (NJ) when I was a kid in the 50s and 60s. I do know that Rex White ran a 1956 Chevy numbered "X" but that is not it.
