1968 - Richard Petty banks his 89th Grand National victory by winning the Old Dominion 500 at Martinsville by 3 laps over second place finisher Cale Yarborough.

The late racing broadcaster Bob Montgomery (one-time voice of the Universal Racing Network) interviews Bobby & Donnie Allison for WSLS-TV in Roanoke, Virginia at Martinsville Speedway prior to the September 22, 1968 Old Dominion 500. Gosh they look young!
