I'm hoping someone can help me.My Grandfather was a car owner back in the day at Islip Speedway. I'm hoping one of the many drivers of his three cars would have a photo they could share with me .I havenone at all ,just memories of his trophies and old pictures at his house whenI was 5 - 10 years old.I heard rumors of the Hunsuckle Brothers, and many others.My Pops name is Louis Misuraca.He owned his owngas stationback then,and used to help all the guys set up their points , and springs in their distributors.He said it was a better , and quicker timing advance.He also would install a cork with a wire leed in the brake master cylinder,when the corhk would touch the bottom of the master cylinder the wire lead would turn on a light on the dash board.Hopefully someone will remember this great man ,and help me out.
