No, we stalled out at just over $1000.00. That does not count the donations that were mailed, though....just the RR, paypal and TSCM donation. I have no idea how much the other mailed donations total. The total paypal donations were $485.00 + $70 from TSCM + $500.00 from RR and The Racing Legends Medical Hardship Fund.

I know some folks mailed their donations...just have no way to track other than asking Jimmy. Will speak to him today to see where we are.

Whats the point...

General

I see your points, BT and raise you these: . I've always enjoyed your points and contributions to RR. Your perspective is as important as any of the others. Some see passionate opinions as negative comments....even bashing. I don't. I do not approve of what I would consider bashing. But I guess my opinion of bashing is different from others. I think hearing opinions of those who have consequently lost passion for the sport is important. Extremely important! Bottom line, attendance and TV ratings are beyond slipping and are tanking. Something is wrong. I do not enjoy the sport as I used to and that bothers me...cause I love the sport and just can't find the passion I once had. Why...? For the reasons you've all heard me state. And I'm not ready to give up. I still have to believe if the fans speak loudly enough, they'll be heard. I've tried accepting it as it is and it doesn't work for me. So I'll continue to give my opinion to anyone who will listen because I truly believe it is constructive. I'm just not ready to give up....sorry if my passion offends anyone. If you want to see real NASCAR bashing visit their site. I stopped going there because I couldn't handle what I considered bashing.

And a well fought battle it was! Congrats to the whole team who were able save this track. Now the challenge....to support it! Hopefully the track will be managed by someone who understands wha tit takes to put butts in seats...and hopefully the public will come.
