From what I have been told recently, there is a tie for this record....I need to check it out....but I'll give you the answer, Hack. It was the combo if John A. Utsman driving for Benny Parsons. John A, driving in relief for Benny gained a 9 lap lead , then got out of the car and let Benny take the win. Benny finished 7 laps ahead of the field. From what I've been told, Cale also had a 7 lap margin of vicory at Bristol.

We now have a "Live 365" player for the main Network page. Just above the schrolling radio message at the top center of the page, you will see "Click HERE to launch RacersReunion Radio" This will provide a "Pop up" player. You will have to download this player...but it is very simple and takes less than a minute. Let us know if you have any problems. You can still listen to the radio from the radio page...and the interview archives are still there.

Several people have asked how to listen to our radio station....and how to listen while they enjoy other features of the site.Well...here's how. When you click on the ad for the radio station on the main page, a "Live 365" player will launch. You will have to click on "download player" to activate it, but this only takes a few seconds. Our programming includes a mix of classic rock, country, beach music, oldies, and some specials from some of our performing members. All this great music is mixed with interview segments from our interviews with the legends of racing. You can also go to the "Special Features" menu on the main page and visit our Radio Archives section to listen to our interviews in their entirety.

Don is correct it was Dr Don Tarr who was wired for sound to report from his car while racing. His pit crew held up a sign that said "TALK" when he went by...since they didn't have radios.
