Open Wheel, Dirt, Local, and Show Car RacersReunion sites to be discontinued.

We've made mention several times that most traffic to RacersReunion is to this (Stock Car) site and the Drag racing site....about 99.9999999%. We have discussed the potential to close the other sites several times and that time has come. We will be closing all four, Open Wheel, Dirt, Local, and Show car by the end of August.

We certainly regret this, but the traffic to the other sites does not warrant the expense to keep them going.

We will continue to focus our efforts on growing Stock Car RacersReunion and Drag RacersReunion.

We urge anyone who has dirtracingcontent to bring it here to the stock car site. Also any open wheel stuff that relates to the old modifieds is welcome here as well.

Nexus Fuel Products Tackles Unemployment

Nexus Fuel Products has been a supporter of RacersReunion for the past couple of years, so this notice is being posted here for allinterestedparties.

Today the company released their plans to offer direct sales opportunities to individuals who would like to be part-time or full-time distributors.

The company has fielded numerous request for distributor information, but until now, have not had an "official" direct sales program. Initially they are including only Nexus Formula 7 With Ethanol Defense in the roll-out, but all Nexus Fuel Products will be included in the program over the next few months.

Interested distributors can purchase case quantities (1 to 25) of 16 ounce bottles of Nexus Formula 7 at significantly reduced prices to allow for plenty of profit.

Company official stated they wanted to expand distribution of their products and millions of people in America need a way to make extra money. "The products work and should be easy for individuals to sell," said Bill Lagan or Nexus Fuel Products.

Sad news! I remember Buck coming to Kingsport Speedway...guess it was int he late 60's seems like it was a gold #41 ford farlane...66 or 67. Then I remember him running in a late model wedge car there in Robert Smalley's NDRA. One heck of a racer. Always put on a great show.

There is a comment on there about Elvis: Here is a piece of it...

(Stick) Was a stunt driver during the filming of the Elvis Pressley movie ' Speedway',

Stick took The King around CMS for 2 laps, then Elvis wanted to go faster,

and Stick just happened to spin the big Pontiac Bonneville down through the grass

much to the delight of the photographers, then drove over to pit road where

Elvis removed himself from the car to go and change his pants.
