Stock Car Racing History
Was at Newport Speedway in Newport Tennessee waaaay back. Two drivers were beating and bangin on each other during the race when one of them stopped cross-ways on the front stretch. Cars started piling into each other and completely blocked the race track. The guy in front got out of his car and started running across the tops of the other cars till he got the one he wanted and pulled the dude out of the car. They were going at it...then several more got into it from the pits...and other drivers. Then they started coming out of the stands.
The two deputies at the track took off out the back gate. The announcer said."Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to stock car racing in Cocke County, TN." This fight went on until every one of them was too tired to fight anymore...finally went back to racin.

Racing is dangerous at every level.
Kart racing is a huge part of the proving grounds for all forms of upper level racing. We (ZMN) are extremely happy to have been asked to market and build the entire network for this new WebTV Reality Series. It includes (initially) 4 websites and a pay-per-view webtv channel. It is the first Digital Media Network of its kind. We just love pioneering stuff.
As for the child dying last week....we did not stop racing after Earnhardt was killed...we just made it safer. The same will result from the tragic loss of Tyler Morr.

I'm speaking of go-karts. Dirt go-karts more specifically. The latest addition to the Zeus Media Network family is DownInTheDirtTV.com . Rolled out yesterday at the Liberty Raceway/King of the Clay banquet in Greensboro.
This will be the first phase of development for a WebTV Reality Series called...Down In The Dirt.
