The Real Deal on Bill Elliott and the 09

Current NASCAR

I think it stinks !!!!!! Bill Elliott is one of the best drivers to ever hit the speedway and if he had the equipment he would be up front.

Question of the day for March 27, 2011

General

In the 60s it was Fireballs #22 and the 67 ply. of Pettys. I liked all of the Daytonas and Superbirds. In the 70s it was the #12 Coke car. Gary Myers brought a Monte Carlo to Talladega that had a swirl paint that was depending on how the sun hit it depended on what color it was. It looked white, blue, silver or chrome. It wasnt a very fast car but it was beautiful going around the track. Then there was the famed #21 also a good looking car.Hoss Ellingtons dayglow Pylon Bldes cars were also very sharp on the track. But I guess my altime favorite was the 1963 chev of Juniors # 3 Holly Farms car.

Question of the day for March 21, 2011

General

There were two super stars of the 60's The first was Fireball. Since we lost him in the early part of the 60's his death brought about a lot of safety changes, fuel cell development and a more plauseable fire suit and on board fire system later. Then comes the King with all his wins and getting the media to pay more attention to the sport when it was more or less a southern sport. So my vote would have to be split between Fireball and Richard.

Sad Results

General

We can hope for it to be a bad gasket or possibly a slip of the head during the installation was the head checked while of for cracks or presure tested. I have ran into the same situation with my dually. I hope the outcome for his engine is better than mine.Keep us advised as to what we need to do.I do know how he fills and it isn't good.

Due to my wife's health we have moved into my Daughter's house.

General

I had several of them at one time some of mine and my Dads. I had them in with a box of pit passes and garage passes from the 50's 60's and seventy's and some idiot said they would never be worth anything and when the boxes got torn up from moving around in a fit of rage of picking them up for the hundredth time in the trash it went.Oh did I mention the word idiot... Now it makes me sick everytime I think of it.
