Well if Billy and I are retired where do we apply for our pensions. Myrtle Beach or Daytona ?
Back in the day I remember when someone was caught with an illegal part whether fuel, engine, or several other parts they were disqualified and was placed in last place with no points or purse. So what they do now is nothing compared to back when. There was not much money to be had back then and you had no big dollar sponsors so it hurt even more then than now. If they would go back to that you would see a lot less of the gray area being tested. If you got caught a couple of times a year you would not be a series champion as you are today.
His main job will most likely will be to go out and find rich spoiled brats to put in the cars. The main word in this is not a word. B.S. is what he will spread to talk some rich dad to invest in the general motors team that his son or daughter would be driving for. They will skip the local tracks and go directly to Nationwide or Cup series.
Get well soon Robin we hope to see you next month at Memory Lane.
Dave does this surprise you? NASCAR screws up everything they do in recent years.
Used to spend my lunch time listening to Paul Harvey. He always had good comments and even used to have my boys listen to him when they were young. It thrilled me when they heard the spot they called the old man to thank him for making them listen to him in their early years. Yes I to think that it was the best commercial of the night. He made several of these commercials for different professions. You should hear the one he made about D.J.s.
I have received my shirts already and they are fantastic. Sorry that we got off of the subject in the prior remarks.
Thanks Dave I too had the all I could smoke for free in the 70's and at that time they were not $5.00 a pack. I was smoking Marlboro and then T wayne crushed mine in my pocket a few times and then he started leaving cartons in my fire truck so I smoked Winstons for the next 40 years. So I know where you are coming from as well.
Thanks PK and I may need you or someone to scream at Tammy already looks at me like a deer in the headlights look when I speak. We will survive though I hope.
