S.T.A.R.S. Radio , Thanks for theMaurice Petty autograph answer to the #01. I don't know this one?? N?? P?? 70s autographs postcard Question.

I found an 30 years later 2000, MAURICE PETTY AUTOGRAPHED 2000 PRESSPASS NASCAR CARD on eBay website.

Of course the 70s MAURICE PETTY AUTOGRAPHED is missing last part of the funny looking "M" that looks like "'N".

Is missing a period over the "i" in Maurice.

Is missing the letter "y" in Petty.

I have now determined that all (9) Autographs of race drivers, race car owners, pit crewman, mechanics, and NASCAR Hall of Famers on the "POSTCARD DAYTONA 500 RACE CAR TRUXMORE / AUTOGRAPHS" are "REAL" and "NOT FAKE"!!

Can you "Name These Autographs of race drivers, race car owners, pit crewmen, mechanics, and NASCAR Hall of Famers"??

I just found this ebay item: POSTCARD DAYTONA 500 RACE CAR TRUXMORE / AUTOGRAPHS I purchased about ten years. I got it because I'm #90 Junie Donlavey race fan.

Front of postcard is photo of Charlie Glotzbach, Teri Ingle - Miss Truxmore, Harold Cole Sr. - owner of Truxmore Industries, Incorporated.

Back of postcard is race history plus (9) Autographs of race drivers, race car owners, pit crewman, mechanics, and NASCAR Hall of Famers.
I know 8 out of 9 autographs.

Blue Burton death was reported this past Wednesday night on "Let's Talk Racing With Joe & Ruth Kelly" radio talk show, with co-hosts MaryAnne & Bob Wilcox.

Do you know if Blue Burton used any other race car numbers besides #33 as a race car number??

Obituary
George T. "Blue" Burton, 83, of Mechanicsville,Va., passed away Monday, June 10, 2013, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

He is survived by: his wife of 61 years, Doris Burton; three children, Doug Burton (M.K.), Gayle Trent (Todd Steigleder), and Mike Burton (Kim); seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces; and nephews.

Blue, was a former late model stock car owner of car #33 for the better part of two decades, and was a retired electrician after over 30 years of service with IBEW Local Union #666.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Road, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of both Heritage Green Assisted Living and Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060.

IT APPEARS THAT RACE DRIVER TIM FLOCK HAD USED OF CARL KIEKHAEFER'S MERCURY OUTBOARD MOTOR COMPANY RACE CARS, MERCURY OUTBOARD RACE CAR HAULERS, MERCURY OUTBOARD MOTOR COMPANY AIRPLANE, AND MERCURY OUTBOARD MOTOR COMPANY MONEY.
WITHIN MINUTES AFTER THE HICKORY,NORTH CAROLINA RACE, TIM WAS IN KIEKHAEFER'S PLANE ON HIS WAY TO PHOENIX.
LEE PETTY COMPLAINED TO CARL KIEKHAEFER FOR UNFAIR COMPETITION. HE TOLD MR. K. THAT IT WAS UNFAIR FOR TIM TO BE ABLE TO RUN ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, WHEN HE COULDN'T GET THERE.

KIEKHAEFER TOLD LEE THAT IF THE SAME SITUATION AROSE, HE COULD GO ALONG ON THE MERCURY OUTBOARD PLANE.

Fred Harb had to park his Ford on lap 83 with the official reason showing as "Door".

Anyone with 1961 NASCAR STOCK CAR RULE BOOK??
Can't race without chrome push button door handles rule??
Can't race without opened/closing race car doors that needed to bolted shut rule??

1968 was last year of chrome push button door handles on NASCAR STOCK CAR RACES.
1969 had door handle shape metal plates welded or riveted in place of chrome push button door handles on the NASCAR STOCK CARS.
