An awful lot of people are saying good-byes in Homestead .. Speed has taped some of their shows for the last time.. Next year will be different I think, But those new cars for 2013 look promising.
Ok the last race of the season is upon us,after Sunday there will be time for rest and remember back at this years moments.
First off you dont get envious of others that are in the limelight, Jeff and Clint seem to be hogging that spot up at Homestead. Anyone you want to stop and talk to are happy to oblige you in their rendition of the cat fight that is the talk of motorhome row down here in Homestead.
Now when this is your last race with a important owner you dont go running into his other car and wrecking it. That noise in your earpiece is your spotter telling you something to the fact that you are not alone entering turn one. I know you are kinda restricted but dang dont you have the sixth sense of your surroundings? Mirrors are in too so Duh.
Its one thing to wring out your car to see if its up to snuff but dont wreck it. Biffle had that look of WTH is going on .
Logano looked like backed off but the wreck magnet was already energised. I looked and listened real close but now there are three poutty faces in the garage .
Now for a twist of fate Brad goes to the point for Sunday If what the big pole in the sky reads as true.
Biffle was in the garage with a rag wiping the backup saying it will be a little faster when im through. Just for the record I havent seen Denny but Joey is eying the crowd over at the blue beer car. Now im off to nap time see ya in turn 4------------- memories

Mr Gibbons,you refer to going forward or rather upwards to use your terminology in the sport of racing. Now true you were talking of football when you said that B U T nascar today has got out of hand for the entry level driver /owner to compete. Fans want to see real racing not follow the leader and if you can pass on the straightaway do so otherwise no touch in turns.. Fans want something you can relate to.. How many fans watch football and pull for a team because of what kind of ball they play with or what kind of glove they use? There is no comparison of the two..
Racing is a sport that is dear to all here on Racers Reunion and almost 80% of our membership own or have ties to a car. So be careful how you rock the boat,Rocking it is not the problem, Its how you rock it.
There was talk of going back to the old style of racing where we had heat races and trophy dashes. I dont see where anyone would NOT like that style of races,and on dirt too.?? That is a win win situation. They play ball on dirt dont they? even football if you care to compare

There are other places being named in the south east that are being looked at. One is a Road course that will accept the cars, questions were asked as to the difference in the 2 series that was different. No answer was given then..
But dirt was tossed around as a new agenda within the next year or two.
Brian is listening to what Mike is saying for a change. There may be hope yet I am told----we shall see
And to think some questioned what I wrote about this coming last year..... I aint so crazy as I was made out it be.
