yeah but look at it this way tim-- you dont have to use a restrictor plate being as your chassis is heavier than jeffs but then again you never know--maybe you need to protest him on chassis weight. He just maybe putting on a "front" now as for robbie i think you will see he is running a little heavy on the front but that may be a reason for him being up high so much

Now that will be interesting to say the least--A driver of the past with credentials in more than one type of racing.

From pikes Peak to BaHa and beyond, not to mention the Victorious rides on the bricks and his dirt victories. Oh wait did I say Nascar. He does rank up there in the top few that are worthy.

There are no extra points for running over diggers camera??? If you put that structure in play then those little runs to the front for the 5 points will be useless------------ but then you can conserve the car(and driver) till the end then make a mad dash to the front on the last lap and win-------------------or cause another BIG ONE

Yes but would you rather watch a sporting event where you have a 50/50 chance of picking the winner ----------------------or would you rather watch a group of 43 battle for the supreme spot.

In drag racing you had how many lined up to knock you out of the trophy?

probably more than 43 if im remotely close,now this is in one day. Its apples and oranges with a watermelon throwed in.

It's that time again. Super Bowl Sunday is coming up - followed closely by Daytona 500 Sunday. So which one do you think is the bigger deal? No question about it: the Daytona 500 is bigger than the Super Bowl. Here's why:

People watch the Daytona 500 to see the action, the strategy and the competition. Not to see who has the best commercial. There is always a huge discussion following the Super Bowl about the ads. There are even awards for the best Super Bowl ads. When is the last time you heard a bunch of NASCAR fans talking more about their favorite commercials than their favorite drivers?
Race fans can actually buy a ticket to the Daytona 500. The average football fan would have a hard time getting a ticket to the Super Bowl if their favorite team was playing. Most of the tickets go to corporate sponsors and big businesses.
100,000 People will attend the Super Bowl at Cowboy's Stadium in Arlington, Texas this year. The Daytona 500 will easily attract 2 to 3 times that many race fans. If only 100,000 people showed up Daytona would look like a ghost town. Plenty of race fans will camp out at the track for 2 weeks just to see the race.
43 teams will be battling to be the Daytona 500 Champion. And at least 25 of them have a legitimate shot to win it. Only 2 teams are playing in the Super Bowl, they have a 50/50 chance of winning. In Nascar there are 43 teams -playing, you go figure!!!
Jamie McMurray won last year's Daytona 500. I can't remember who won last year's Super Bowl. Can you?
People used to say the Daytona 500 is the Super Bowl of racing. Maybe we should start saying that the Super Bowl is the Daytona 500 of football.
Can you think of another reason why the Daytona 500 is bigger than the Super Bowl? Betcha can !!!

Rex White inducted into IMHoF 1-12-2011

Rex was one of the pioneers of speedway,no SUPER Speedway racing. He raced when it was seat of the pants driving,no frilly stuff if you remember.

Another great track up for sale

Check out this track in Bakersfield Ca. Its a 7.5 mile oval--bet you could get your hair ruffled on it and also has a 4.5 roadcourse in the middle. Now if we only get J>C>Hayes to get off his pocket book we could have a western track to add to the Racers Reunion show list.

It comes with a fueling station,security bldg and a work shop and its protected by non native trees for privacy

All this on the 4355 acre Honda proving center and its for sale---just think ----------------------wow !!!!

This is true ---but they have got complicit with going over and running in the "Sportsman" class and taking home extra money and points. Now if there is no point slush fund to tap into will they continue to go? Most all teams already have a stable of Sportsman drivers able to do the testing at various tracks. It is going to shake up the cookee jar for sure---- BUT wait there is more to come so wait and see what ELSE our little International Speedway Drive GURU pulls next.
