Chevy Impala SS owners can relax, it was not a problem with the car causing the fire at Daytona last night...Brian France and a couple of Sprint girls were passing a blunt while sipping vodka in the back seat, a careless flick of hot ashes ignited the velour upholstery. No one was seriously injured, 6 rescue workers did receive a contact buzz, the 250 people in the grandstands were unaffected.

Race reporter "John Brown" from up yonder was down wind and ---well you know the rest of the story ...

The race was different,very different...

where can you find a boyfriend running over his girlfriend -- and JJ takes an exit stage left, then the pace car catches fire all the while the full moon shines brightly.

But what a Shootout it was -- after the wrecks finished.. seems as the cars have a different attitude this year on racing, no bumpdrafting this time..

Oh did I mention they were blowing motors before the practice was over?
