EVER HAVE A SCARY MOMENT ON TRACK THAT LEFT YOU OUT OF BREATH

For a few seconds or more ? ? One of Tim Leemings posts brought this back to mind and thought I would share a scary gut wrenching event that maybe you never thought of. Now it is best to be or have been a driver on a half mile or longer track to make this wake you up. I saw Kyle Busch have M&M moment over this same ordeal. Havent figured it out yet?? Ok here goes, I was running on the fast and I mean fast 5/8 mile dirt track in Telfair County Ga,just south of McRae Ga. I was up in the front two or three WHEN on the back stretch I set the old Chevy in a drifr to enter turn three ---- and then it happened, my safety belt came unbuckled and if ever a time my life to think quick this was it --- do you continue the drift and hope no one gives you a tap, or do you drift up out of harms way and rebuckle, this I did and would you have it I think it was three cars followed me up there and politely spun out.. This give me time to re-buckle and get back in line BUT my heart was not calm mind you.
I was told I was still white as a sheet when I got back in the pits, Now this was my Racers Reunion Moment from back in the day..
