I've also heard that Bobby Labonte and Jeff Burton have no plans for next year. And plus Schrader is done too! However, as you see in late models and in the truck series....there is alot of young talent that will be Cup stars within the next 5 years.
Dang ya'll beat me to it! As I was typing my response....good ol' Dawsonville internet froze and shut down! Anyway, this was Raymond's second and last race as a driver. First was Langhorne Penn. in the summer of 1947. It was basically the same deal - He decided to take three cars, instead of two. A yellow #22-A was for Raymond, or J.F Fricks. Raymond just couldn't sleep the night before, he was too nervous. Towards the end of the race, Raymond got flashbacks from his moonshining days and took the lead! With just a handful of laps to go, Bob Flock's #14 had rear-end troubles and Parks relinquished his ride to Flock.
