Woodbrothers Racing New Driver
Current NASCAR
Dennis, I'm glad you mentioned Richmond's Sonny Hutchins as a Wood Brothers driver. It is very disappointing to me how many folks never knew or forgot the potent #21 Ford Coupe Modified the Wood Brothers built for Sonny to drive back in the 60s. The car was later driven by Donnie Allison before being sold to Frank Edwards and totaled at Martinsville by Eddie Royster.
I don't believe you could number Jim Clark as a Wood Bros. driver, though. They simply pitted the Colin Chapman owned Lotus at Indy driven by Clark. Clark's only NASCAR start was in the Holman-Moody #66 at Rockingham.
