I dont know if weve seen all the issues that theres going to be, Brad Keselowski said. I think that when the races get hotter, theres a lot of potential for failure, but I dont think anyone can really quantify what those potentials are or put any odds on it because we are seeing things that I dont think we even predicted we would see.

Long qualifies 15th in Vegas

Pensacola native Johanna Long will start 15th in today's NASCAR Nationwide Series Sam's Town 300 in Las Vegas. / John Raoux/Associated Press
Pensacola native Johanna Long has qualified 15th on the starting grid for the running of todays NASCAR Nationwide Series Sams Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The effort is the best qualifying run for Long in her two Nationwide attempts. In Daytona on Feb. 25, Long qualified 21st and finished in that exact same position in her series debut.
The top qualifiers for the race are: 1. Elliott Sadler, 2. Kasey Kahne, 3. Austin Dillon, 4. Brian Scott, 5. Brad Keslowski.
Sadler won last weeks Nationwide race in Phoenix, while Kahne set the LMS track record on Friday in qualifying for Sundays Sprint Cup race.
Long was second among rookies, trailing just Dillon, the grandson of legendary owner Richard Childress.
As for another driver of note, Danica Patrick qualified three spots ahead of Long at No. 12. They are the top females competing on the Nationwide Series in 2012.
