You all are so great to put up with my comments. A very Merry Christmas to all and a heart felt thanks for all the dedication you all provide to the site.
Tonight will be the LAST Goat Rodeo for 2013. Been a fast year. Hope everyone will join us at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time to hear what the folks have to say about the year end, Christmas, and the upcoming 2014 season. If you've listened before, you know there is NO predicting what may transpire in the two hours on the air.
It's a week too early for eggnog but it certainly is not to early to share some good times and make some memories to tide you over 'til 2014. Oh, wait!!!! I didn't mean to say "tide". Didn't that sponsor D.W. for awhile????? Strike that. Change to "hold you over" until next year.
My thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Mr. Hilborn.
I am certain to be short-circuited. Ann says my brain already is.
I got a charge out of this report Johnny! Thanks. Sort of shocking, but interesting nevertheless.
Watch out for a "Sparkle Pony" pole run for the Daytona 500. They did it for her so they could get a week's publicity so you know they would love the publicity of having the 3 on the pole for the 500. Watch and see what happens.
Very great addition to the history Chase. Have a question for you. Do you know if there was ever a race run on Christmas Day? That was presented to me in an e-mail this morning and I have no clue. I can't imagine that ever happened, but I'm sure you can find out.
I need to add this warning to potential purchasers and listeners to this audio book. If you are lying back in your recliner, tired from raking up 78 large bags of leaves from the yard, and youare listening to the book, you are apt to find yourself in dreamland seeing before your very eyes, races from the past. This may be the only audio book I will ever own because I still enjoy turning the pages, but I wouldn't trade my experience thus far, listening to Buz McKim bring racing history to life. A complete sensory experience for the race fan.
