Yes...Chase...that was DEFINITELY PRICELESS!!
Thanks..to ALL of you! I know, I would love to have any part of a car that my Daddy drove. I can imagine how much Kristen wants to find this car....~Patsy~
Thank you so much! I had pretty much given up...on this hunt. I will pass this information along to Kristen. Thanks again....~Patsy~
Thanks William, there is some question as to whether is was a Sedan as well. She is trying to get me some pics of it. And at 16.... I would be hard pressed to remember everything as well. LOL At that age, some things are better left forgotten...as well...LOL! I will post pics as I get them...see if you recognize it, okay?
Johnny....if I am good for nothing else..I am good for "Livening Up...and Creating Interest" LOL!!
I shall ask about that. There might even be some "film footage" out there...LOL
I am posting this on behalf of Neil Bonnett's daughter, Kristen Bonnett Ray. She asked if I would do this as a favor to her. I told her that if anyone could help track this car down, it would be the Members of RacersReunion.
I was just sitting around thinking and wondering if anyone knows where my dads 1934 ford coupe that he restored ended up. Last time I knew it was in Richard Childress' Museum in NC, but I know it has since been sold or moved. Any info would be nice. It had a Wood Bros. motor in it.
I had a good time in that car when I turned 16. Acted a fool in that car! Took it to a long straight and leaned on it and it never quit pulling I thought the body was gonna fly off of it before I could get it slowed down. Also would drive it to softball practice and then play on the way home.
Thanks,
Kristen Bonnett Ray
How cool it is to enjoy working your "tail" off...huh, Jerry??
