great addition to the site Tim. I do so enjoy reading your postings and I thank you for sharing.
May she rest in peace. I send her family and friends my deepest condolences and will have them in my thoughts and prayers.
Charles, My prayers and thoughts go out to you and Ervin's family. It is a wonderful thing to have a great friend for that long.
Truer words were never written. A treasure trove of knowledge and information and nice guys too. Great idea Tim..
Dave, Thank you for posting that link. He will be sorely missed by a lot of friends. Asuper human being and a heck of a driver.
Just received the news no one wants to hear. My great friend and fellow RR member Jim Kaserman passed away this morning in Ft. Myers, Florida. He drove the # 21 1951 orange & black Ford . I have had many races against him and he was always the consummate racer. Drove hard but clean. I have so many photos of our cars running together and many fond memories of the times in the pits. He would laugh and tell me how much he enjoyed beating me and I would remind him how seldom it happened. Al in good fun and warm memories of a true friend.
Dave, To me, Sonny doesn't look to worried. Sounds like half the field
had a reason to do a little bit of "pay back". I have raced with a couple of guys like that and you can get plenty riled up when you get the chrome horn and don't get enough time to move over or choose not to. lol.
wow! sounds like a shoot out at the O K corral. lol...too bad this was all before the WWE or the caged M.A. events. The track could have made a fortune with the intermission bouts.
