A NASCAR Hall of Fame Kind of Day

A great and oh so true statement Jim. well put.
Chris was also a strong supporter of vintage racing. I had the pleasure of meeting him in 09 when I ran there with the DAARA group. I wish him well where ever he goes.
lol, I guess now that Mike is 55 he is considered one of us Johnny...either way a 9 time Whelan modified champion is fantastic so "old guysdorule"......
Also check out Dave Westerman's Florida Stock car history site.. Has tons of photo's from that era. Dave now works in Daytona at the Nascar library.......
You learn something every day in here...Did not know you used to be a teacher....now I guess I'll have to bring you an apple in a few weeks.
May he rest in peace. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.....
Great news Jim, You Sir are the real deal..congrats on connecting with your crew from the old days....
Wow. what a great story/article.. Dave this guy hits it right on the head....
Well said Tim, Personal fond memories are the very best....meaning a little something extra special...
Sorry to report I got a call today from a sprint car friend of mine who told me Kramer Williamson died today from injuries received last night. I don't have any more details but will see if I can find some more information. I first saw him race his #73 car in the middle of June 1975 at The Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. That was actually the first sprint car race I had seen. My condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends.
