November 6 - This day in Petty history 11/6/1960 - Lee won the pole and finished 3rd in a 200 lap race at the Charlotte Fairgrounds Speedway. Richard finished 11th.11/6/1977 - Richard qualified 2nd but finished 6th in the Dixie 500 at Atlanta.11/6/1983 - Richard finished 5th in the Atlanta Journal 500 at Atlanta. Kyle finished 20th.
