November 20 - This day in Petty history 11/20/60 - Lee wins his 54th race at Speedway Park, Jacksonville, FL.Public Service Announcement - cue Sally Struthers, Barack Obama, Mike Rowe, Jerry Lewis, Treasury Secretary Paulson:Folks, times are getting lean. Later this month & for most of December, I'll have limited amounts of Petty trivia to share. Over the past couple of months, the crops were plentiful, the harvest was bountiful, and the trivia poured freely as a cold, foamy Schaefer on a hot Dega afternoon. But now the Petty trivia famine is about to hit us in a big sort of way. Tough to find much info about what the Pettys did between Thanksgiving and the New Year. The well isn't totally dry - but the water is a bit more muddy than clear. Please, please, please. I beseech you. I implore you. Have mercy upon me and the rest of Racers Reunion Petty fans group here. If you got yourself some of that thar trivia, pass it along to me. Please drop me a line - I won't bite.Maybe its a trivia nugget, a cool picture, a great personal Petty story, ANYTHING. Just don't let the man snuff out our trivia.Thank you.
