10/2/49 - Lee Petty wins his first race at Heidelberg Raceway, Pittsburgh, PA.10/2/60 - Petty cars finish 6th (Richard), 10th (Jim Paschal), and 20th (Lee) in the Wilkes 320 at North Wilkesboro.
Anybody have an idea if the car had issues today??? Were we out there just getting our feet wet, getting ready for next week??
