Jim Paschal finishes 3rd driving a #44 Chevy for Julian Petty.10/16/60 - The 1959 rookie of the year, Richard Petty, finishes 2nd to Speedy Thompson in the inaugural National 400 at Charlotte. Lee (42) finishes 36th, and Jim Paschal (44) finishes 8th.10/16/66 - Marvin Panch finishes 6th in #42 Petty Plymouth in the National 400 at Charlotte. Richard finishes 38th after starting fourth.
