Big Daddy Never Stops! Anyone that knows Don knows what an incredible person he is. There will never be another like him. When we are not emailing each other with political rants, Don is working on the Challenger, attending an event or any number of things. He never stops! I recently checked out the new web site for the museum www.garlits.com and found something interesting. He had told me this before when we were on the road to Virginia Motorsports Park but he clearly articulated it here....how to fix NHRA Top Fuel. Top Fuel, according to Don, can renew its fan base by going back to a full quarter mile because 1,000 ft just isn't much of a race. NHRA has cut the distance trying to slow the cars down for safety's sake. Don says the best way is to reduce the wing thereby reducing downforce and having Goodyear make smaller tires for the category. You know, I can't remember a time when Big Daddy was wrong!! T.C. Lemons might argue that (LOL). Check out the museum website and if you have never been there, you don't know what you are missing!!

Have you read Declarations of Stock Car Independents?

These stories are virtually unedited! Just as they were told to author, Perry Allen Wood. I enjoyed them all.
