Make a Movie about the Bob Glidden story. A movie about the life and times of Bob Glidden and his family would be awesome. I'm talking about a major motion picture. That is rooted in reality. The life of the old school Racers. Kinda like the movie Days of Thunder. With a movie made. It would be hard for the future bozo's to rewrite it as they wished it had happened. We all know Bob Glidden was a serious Racer. The MAD DOG they called him. And i bet alot of racers wished he had never been born. But only because he was a Ford freak. It was a glorious time when Bob owned the track. Its ashame that NHRA won't allow the Ford Boss head motor they use over in IHRA. Just go's to show you just how weak some people really are. Now Ford has to use a Hemi motor that resembles a Mopar. And the chevy Hemi is nothing more than a repackaged Boss head from IHRA Boss Fords. With a reshaped valve cover. The valve angles are the same as fords Current IHRA head. So if the chevy Hemi wins at IHRA. I can just realize its really a Boss Ford headed block. Back to the topic. Running a Ford in Pro Stock and dominating the way Bob Glidden did. Is alot like Burning the book of the Koran. NHRAofficials will come after you and try every trick in the book to make you go away. Just like they did in 1982 with the 500 cube engine limit. Only to try and make Bob go away. NHRA was hoping to see Glidden run out of the original Boss engines. Ford motor company knew it too. And so Bob worked things out with Nick Arias and Allen Root to replace the fragile original Boss block with some Holman And Moody parts to continue to win. To the dislike of the NHRA and GM camp. Hopefully Larry Morgan won't be jacked like Glidden was. I bet it will if he starts to win alot.
