Ongais Road Racing Can't remember the mag or date but I was reading a story about some road race at Mosport. Danny was driving some open-class vehicle. Writer said, from where he was standing trackside in a corner, he could hear the crowd go silent once in awhile. He stopped and surveyed the phenomenon. What he discovered was that they'd quiet down every time Ongais went by. Reason they did so? Ongais was driving his vehicle - trying to gain position - so over-the-top and near the edge, he actually FRIGHTENED them into silence. Never forgot that.
