original sox and martin chrysler transmission complete with hurst shifter and mechanism
I have just come upon an original sox and martin 4 speed transmission with the hurst competition shifter. A very dear friend of mine named Dale Ruff left it to me due to his passing recently. Dale was an AHRA drag racer during the 60's and 70's and also bought one of grumpy jenkins camaros. I know he won 2 national AHRA championships and im for sure he won nationals in 1970. He bought the tranny directly from sox and martin in kansas city and raced with it for several years untill they changed the rules to where he couldnt run the tranny in a chevrolet car anymore. Can anybody tell me what its worth or possibly anybody interested in it?
