Preservation to me means un-touched, as is found and rescued.Restored-using original or period correct parts to restore as close as possible. Re-constructed means using period correct parts to re-create a carof special interest. I think you need original photographs andcurrent photographs to document your project.There is a group who can certify? authenic race cars. Ron Miller had his Marion Cox built Fairlane authenicated as a historical race car at the Darlingto Race Festival in 2010. The Fairlane was used by the group to show interested persons what to look for when purchasing a real race car. Vintage motorsports is gaining popularity across America and I'm glad to see the enthusiam that is present.
