As it became popular to have Grand Marshals for Cup events, UNOCAL's Bill Broderick (Hat Man) would have all drivers autograph the flag prior to the race and it was presented to the Grand Marshal. But, I have no idea about the Pure Firebird flags back in the day.Â

I didn't see any on the internet in Richard Petty race museum or the NASCAR Hall Of Fame.
