We lost the great South Carolina dirt driver, Mutt Powell 7 years ago today on August 11, 2009. I was so fortunate to witness many of his legendary battles at Wilson County Speedway with Virginian, Al Grinnan.

Finally!!!!! I know the reason for WWII. Always wondered what got ole Adolf so riled.

Seriously, Alex, I enjoyed this read. Different and informative. Glad you can pronounce those names, heck, I couldn't even spell them. Poor Adolf. And Jesse Owens won four gold medals in the 1936 Olympics.
